Refining Room only offers HA (Hyaluronic Acid) based fillers due to compatibility to our own HA found in our bodies. More importantly, these can be reversed. Meaning, we can dissolve HA with a natural enzyme, hyaluronidase (hyalase), which makes them safer to use. 

 

HA is created by our bodies, it is a sugar molecule that provides volume and hydration for our skin, giving it that 'glow'.

As we age, our production of HA, collagen and elastin decreases over time, leaving our skin fragile, dry and volume depleted. Research has shown that injecting HA dermal fillers can stimulate a production of collagen and elastin.
