With any new service at Refining Room, you will be required to have a 45 minute Initial Consultation, prior to any treatment even if you have previously been treated elsewhere. In your consultation, we assess and determine a course of action, and provide appropriate education to gain informed consent before any procedure can take place.
I pride myself on safety and best-practice, which is why I take the time to listen, educate and provide guidance, so together we can reach an optimal result.
Please note, the required 45 minute time frame is not inclusive of treatment time. For your reference, an
Initial Consultation including Botox® will be approximately 60 minutes in total and an Initial Consultation including dermal filler/s will be approximately 90 minutes in total.
Confidentiality
Your Privacy is taken very seriously at Refining Room.
Injectables are classified as a medical treatment, so you are protected by the
'Code of Health and Disability Service Consumers' Rights' (Code of Rights). Please know that all photos and notes are kept in a password secure, online medical program. This information can only be accessed by myself and prescribing oversight.
Many of my new clients come through referrals of my existing clients. While I am grateful for this, please be aware I cannot discuss the referring client, their treatments, or any medical details, even if they are your spouse, partner, family or friend.
