Hyalase

It should be no secret that filler migration can occur, even with an experienced injector. There has been a significant increase in the number of people wanting their dermal fillers dissolved, due to incorrect placement. Migration usually occurs from inexperienced injectors ‘over-treating’ or having 'poor placement' of the product in the tissue, causing filler migration which distorts a person's face.

The enzyme hyaluronidase in Hyalase is used to breakdown HA. At Refining Room we will happily dissolve and re-treat an area (if that is what you require) but it is preferred you go back to your original injector to discuss. It is not only good for their learning but also gives them an opportunity to correct the issue. However we understand this is not always possible.

Please note, there is a charge to dissolve dermal filler that has been done elsewhere. If you require multiple treatments to dissolve the product, it is charged on a per session basis.

Please bear in mind, Hyalase breaks down all HA within reach, including our self made HA. No need to fear, our bodies are smart and will replace this within a week or two. There is a follow up appointment after 2 weeks of dissolving to create a plan moving forward.

Please refer to the 'pre-treatment checklist' before booking
